Should you list a house "as is" or renovate first and then list it? The answer to this question is dependent upon the following considerations.
1. Do you have the time and expertise to oversee this?
2. Do you have the finances to start extensive renovations?
3. Do you have access to trustworthy contractors?
4. Will you get a good return on investment?
5. Do you need a quick sale? What are your neighbourhood stats?
Taking the time to renovate works better in a slow market, however in a dynamic market the higher demand for fixer upper homes will determine your sales strategy.
